June Favourites

I wasn't even sure if I should post this one - the 18th is hardly the start of the month. Regardless I thought, I would post it. I promise the next favourites wont be as late.

I have been focusing a lot on my skin lately, so this post is very skin care heavy.  Lets not waste any more time and jump straight into my June Favourites.

Skincare

Skinstitut Hydrating Mask

During winter my skin cant soak up enough hydration. This mask is an amazing addition to my skincare/winter hydration routine. (Comment below if you would like to hear more about my hydration routine) This mask is designed to be left on for 10minutes, but like with any mask - I generally leave it on for longer, maybe 20minutes. On weekends I will even wear this for much longer, whilst cleaning the house etc. I love the soft hydrated feeling it gives my skin.

Ren Moroccan Rose Gold Glow Perfect Dry Oil

Another winter skin saviour. My skin overall struggles during the cooler months, especially my legs. This can make shaving a horrible task, leaving them in a lot of pain. I have tried normal moisturisers but have found this oil works a lot quicker and better. I generally use this over my entire body before bed. It is absorbed very quickly and doesn't leave my skin feeling oily or sticky. I absolutely adore the smell, I am a bit fan of anything rose scented.

Tarte Marajuca Oil

I have become a big lover of face oils, I even wrote a post about them here. I picked this up in a travel size and it has quickly shot to the top of my favourites list. It leaves my skin feeling so soft and radiant, it also works wonders with my hydration issues - added bonus. I have heard it is also wonderful on your hair, but I cant bring myself to use it on my hair when it is so wonderful on my face.

Trilogy Age Proof Active Enzyme Cleansing Cream*

This cream cleanser is very nutrient/enzyme/antioxidant rich, it feels very luxurious to use. I use this cleanser in the mornings only, I like the way it makes my skin feel cleansed and fresh without that dry tight feeling. I also feel like it feels smoother and plumper when I use it. I use this in the morning only as while I do feel it works well to remove dirt and grime, I am not confident with using only it of an evening after a day of wearing full make up.

Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Face Peel Pads

These were reconmended by one of my beauty friends, Brii Wright! I can not thank her enough. These little sachets pack a lot of punch. I was a little hesitant when I first heard about them but after my first use I was hooked. I bought the 5 pack as a little tester, I will definitely be repurchasing. I will be putting out a full review on these gems.

Sheet Masks

And thanks to Mel from loadsoflifestyle (check out her blog here) I have a full blown sheet mask addiction. I have been shopping up a storm at w cosmetics and sampling a wide range. I don't have a bad thing to say about sheet masking, other than the obvious creepy appearance of them. I have been trying many kinds, for detox, hydration, collagen boosting etc and I just love the feel of my skin post sheet mask. I tend to sheet mask around twice a week and always massage in any excess into my skin. Never waste a drop of that goodness.

How Much: $2-5 each
Where to buy: Ebay, W Cosmetics - loads of places stock them.

Make Up

Too Faced Born This Way Foundation

I picked up this foundation in Light Beige. At first I wasn't a massive fan of how it applied to my face, I think this was because I applied way to much and didn't buff it enough. For me this is a medium to full coverage and a little goes a long way. I start small and then build the coverage depending on what I am doing or how I am feeling. I find I need to work the product to make sure it melts well into my skin but after that it wears really well and I am left with a flawless finish.

RCMA No Colour Powder

I finally jumped on the bandwagon and I understood the hype of this product. I am not a big baker but when I do this is definitely my go to product. I love how it sits on my skin and doesn't distort the colour of the products it is being applied to.

Nails

Sinful Shine Kylie Jenner Collection

I am not one to jump on the Kardashian/Jenner bang wagons but I was definitely impressed by these two colours. I haven't really checked out any other colours as my friend Kate (check out her blog here) picked these up for me at her local Chemist Warehouse. I got the colours Karamel & Kreme de la Kreme. I love the metallic look of these polishes. They apply beautifully and wear really well. They are meant to be bought in a two step process, however I use my Sally Hansen Gel Miracle top coat as the second step and find I have great results.

Hope you have enjoyed this post, make sure you leave a comment with products you are currently lovely.
