March Health and Wellness Awareness

Hey All,

I wanted to apologise for the delay in getting my March Health & Wellness favourites out to you. We have had a crazy few days here in QLD with cyclone Debbie hanging around.

As I did in February, I want to share with you each month my new discoveries and love in the world of health and wellness. After all – knowledge is king. If you missed my Feb post, click here to check it out.

Now, on to this month’s favourite finds.

1. The Telomere Effect – This book discusses the aging process and how our individual lifestyle and psychological habits can slow disease and impove life. It is a really interesting concept and was co-authored by a Nobel Prize winner in the field of Telomerase. I definitely felt this was a very exciting book and concept, if anything it will at lease help us make better life choices which will hopefully lead to healthier and happier lives. (I am actually yet to finish the entire book)

2. Kirsty Wirth – Kirsty has a really interesting story of how she cured her sons autism through gut health. I first came across her via the Melissa Ambrosini Show. She has a wealth of knowledge of all things wellness, with a major focus on gut health. Something I am also very passionate about. You can check out her website and blog for all sorts of info (kulturedwellness.com). Also if you just do a quick google or podcast search of her name, the amount of information which comes up is incredible.

I hope you have been enjoying these monthly posts, and as always – if you have made any amazing discoveries this month, please share them with me in the comments. I am always looking for new and amazing avenues to help grow and expand my knowledge.

Shan x.
